• Destination pages now render from cached data on the critical path and refresh live conditions in the background, cutting cold-load time dramatically.
• Added per-continent and per-country editorial briefings so regional and country pages carry genuine context beyond the score fields.
• Expanded the About, Contact, Terms, and Disclaimer pages with full editorial and policy detail.
• Self-healing and self-enrichment engines now promote more cities to full editorial quality automatically, with a public score-history audit trail on each page.
• Sitemap hygiene: only canonical, indexable, non-redirecting URLs are listed; city-state duplicates resolved to a single canonical URL.

May 2026 — Live data, schema & the atlas

• Added six live public-source cards to every destination: weather and air quality (Open-Meteo), US State Department advisory, GDACS disaster alerts, CDC health notices, and recent news headlines — each shown verbatim with source and timestamp.
• Rebuilt the scoring model into a transparent nine-category weighted composite, with a live-advisory floor and confidence-aware tiers (see methodology).
• Launched the Travel Risk Index, the world atlas, and six continent guides.
• Added structured data (Article, FAQPage, TouristDestination, Dataset, Breadcrumb) and an llms.txt for AI answer engines.
• Published the full trust set: editorial policy, AI content policy, data review process, data sources, and corrections.
